Boy Studying a Rock Near a Volcano
Coloring guide
A smiling boy in a helmet kneels on the ground and holds a big magnifying glass over a bumpy, pitted rock, with his other hand resting on top of it. He's dressed in a vest over a short-sleeved shirt, lace-up boots and a helmet with a chin strap. His backpack sits in the grass behind him, complete with buckles, a front pocket and a mesh side pocket. Far off, a cone-shaped volcano lets out a big cloud of smoke, and lumpy bushes and grass tufts dot the scene. Large shapes mixed with small details make this good for kids who like to take their time. Warm grays and browns would suit the rock, and a few orange lava streaks will help the volcano pop. Print it free for a science lesson or a quiet afternoon. Kids who like Volcano coloring pages usually enjoy City and Solar System & Space too.
