Broken Heart Split Down a Zigzag Crack

Coloring guide
A single large heart is drawn in thick black outline and split into two halves by a jagged zigzag crack running from the top notch to the bottom point. The crack is drawn with a double line, so it looks like the torn edges have a bit of thickness, and the left and right pieces sit just slightly apart. Both halves are plain and empty, which leaves lots of open space for color. Print it for a feelings lesson and let kids pick colors for how a broken heart might feel, such as blue for sad or gray for upset. They could also color each half differently and talk about how the two pieces fit back together. The bold lines are easy to stay inside, so it works well for crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
