One Big Heart Outline for Little Hands

Coloring guide
This page has just one thing on it: a big heart in the middle, traced with a single smooth, bold black line. There's a small dip at the top where the two rounded lobes meet, and the bottom finishes in a soft point. The inside is clean white space with no patterns, faces, borders or backgrounds, so kids can fill it in however they please. Because the line is so thick, it's easy to stay inside, which helps toddlers and preschoolers who are still getting the hang of crayons. Older kids might add their own stripes, dots or doodles. It could turn into a Valentine's Day card, a Mother's Day gift or a kindness project for the classroom, and a solid fill of red or pink looks lovely. Print it free for a screen-free moment at home. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- coral red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the heart body: fill the whole inside of the heart with coral red, staying inside the black outline.
- 2Work in one direction with gentle strokes so the color stays even, and go a little lighter near the edges if you like.
- 3Keep the white background around the heart untouched so the shape really pops.
- 4Optional: Add a few darker diagonal strokes of coral red at the lower part of the heart to suggest a bit of texture.
