Building a Tall Block Tower Together, Diversity & Inclusion Coloring
Coloring guide
On a round rug, a boy and a girl kneel side by side and stack wooden toy blocks into a tall tower. He reaches up to set a rectangular block on top, and she, with her ponytail, grins as she holds the tower steady with both hands. Midway up there's a block with an arched doorway, and a triangle roof piece sits at the peak. At the bottom left, a teddy bear wears a bow tie, and a few loose blocks lie scattered on the rug. The background has a bookshelf with books, a ball and a little house toy, and a framed sun picture hangs on the wall. It's a free printable that's handy for talking about teamwork and sharing. Warm yellow suits the sun, red and blue the blocks, and soft brown the teddy bear. Fans of Diversity & Inclusion coloring pages often like Hearts and For Kids as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: color the rug and floor areas pale blue and sand beige, and leave the wall areas and the space around the children white.
- 2Color the tower blocks next: the bottom block in bright blue, the middle blocks in golden yellow and leaf green, the arch block in orange, and the upper blocks in lavender purple and leaf green, with a sky blue roof on top.
- 3Fill in the children: the boy's shirt in sky blue, his pants in navy blue, and his hair in chocolate brown; the girl's dress and sleeves in rose pink, her hair in caramel brown, and the skin areas in peach skin. Keep the eye whites white.
- 4Color the teddy bear in caramel brown, the small block at the front in red, the cube on the right in bright blue, and the long block at the bottom right in golden yellow.
- 5Finish with details: the sun in golden yellow, the bookshelf in chocolate brown with books in orange, leaf green and coral red, and the boy's arm shadow in light gray. Optional: add a little extra shading with a slightly darker shade of each color.
