A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and mountains: color the distant mountains and hills periwinkle blue and slate blue, and leave the clouds and sky white.
- 2Fill Bulbasaur with mint green and Ivysaur with aqua teal, leaving the flower bud on Ivysaur coral pink and its open mouth salmon pink.
- 3Color the trees and bushes with grass green and lime green, and the tree trunk brown, then add the river in bright blue and the waterfall in pale blue.
- 4Paint the meadow grass with yellow green and sage green, and color the arrow golden yellow.
- 5Add the leaves in grass green, then the plant bulb on Bulbasaur and the spots on both creatures in deep teal and dark green.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading in a darker shade of each color, and leave the flowers, highlights and eye whites white for a crisp finish.
