Bunny Mid-Leap Above a Winding Stream
Coloring guide
Caught in the middle of a jump, this happy bunny has its long ears streaming back, its front paws stretched forward and its back feet kicking out behind. It has an open, big smile, round eyes, whiskers and a fluffy round tail. Below, a little stream winds across the page between smooth rocks and tufts of grass, and a cluster of tall cattails with long leaves grows on each side. There is plenty of open white space around the bunny's body, so little hands can color it easily, while the wavy water and grass add a bit of detail for older kids. Soft gray or warm brown fur, a pink nose and inner ears, blue water and green cattail leaves would all look good. This free printable works for a quiet afternoon or a spring class activity. - 3Fill the big rocks, pebbles, and small stones at the bottom with light gray, keeping a little white for shine.
- 4Color the cattails dark brown and the reed leaves and grass clumps in moss green and grass green.
- 5Paint the stream water with sky blue and add a few light green touches on the grass near the water.
- 6Optional: Add a light shadow under the bunny's belly and along the rocks with a slightly darker tone of the same color.
