Waving Bunny Astronaut Beside a Rocket on the Moon
Coloring guide
Standing on the moon in a round space helmet, this smiling bunny waves one mitten-like hand, with its long ears poking up inside the helmet. The spacesuit has a chest control panel with a few buttons, striped sleeves and legs, and chunky boots. A small rocket with a round porthole window and three fins sits on the right. Up in the sky, Earth shows its continents among five stars of different sizes, and the ground is drawn with bumpy lunar craters and little rocks. Younger kids can handle the big open shapes, while the suit panel and continents give older children small areas to work on. Light gray or silver fits the spacesuit, blue and green work for Earth, and bright red helps the rocket stand out. This free printable is great for space-themed days at home or in class. This fits right in with our Bunny coloring pages — see also Jesus / Bible and Flowers.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the helmet glass, ears, and earth in light blue, and fill the ocean part of the earth with royal blue.
- 2Color the rocket's nose cone, fins, and bottom stripes in bright red, and the small star shapes in golden yellow.
- 3Fill the bunny's inner ears and the mouth with baby pink, and color the glove and boots with royal blue.
- 4Use royal blue for the chest panel, belt, and the left headset cover, and add light gray for the boot soles and the rocket base shadow.
- 5Leave the bunny face, suit, arms, and rocket body white so they keep a clean look.
- 6Optional: Add a little medium gray shading on the moon craters and backpack to make them pop.
