Mama Bunny and Her Four Babies With Dandelions
Coloring guide
A big, smiling mother rabbit with tall ears and fluffy chest fur sits in the middle of the page with four little bunnies around her. One baby on the left reaches up to touch her chest and another on the right does the same. Two more snuggle in at the bottom, and one of them has its eyes happily closed. Behind the family, two round dandelion puffs and a dandelion bud stand on tall stems next to jagged leaves, while clover leaves and grass tufts cover the ground in front. Large shapes and clear outlines are good for kids still learning to stay inside the lines, and the soft fur and tiny whiskers give older children something to enjoy. Soft gray and cream for the bunnies, bright yellow for the dandelions and fresh greens for the clover all work well. You can grab it as a free PDF, and no sign-up is needed. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the mama bunny's head, body and long ears, plus the bodies of all four babies, with warm brown, leaving the eye whites and white flowers and clovers as paper.
- 2Color the inner ears and the mama bunny's nose with coral pink, then add cream to the muzzles and cheeks, with a touch of peach on the left baby's muzzle and light tan on the bottom right baby's paw.
- 3Color the dandelion leaves and the grass blades with grass green, letting the strokes flow upward from the ground.
- 4Fill the four-leaf clovers at the bottom and sides with clover green, leaving the few white clovers uncolored.
- 5Color the centers of the two dandelions golden yellow, and leave the petals white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker brown along the edges of the babies' bodies, and add a tiny white shine dot in each eye to make them sparkle.
