Bunny Smelling a Big Daisy Flower With Butterflies
Coloring guide
Sitting upright in the grass with its long ears raised, a fluffy bunny leans in to sniff a large daisy with a dotted center. Two smiling butterflies flutter overhead, each trailing a dashed line that shows where it flew. All around the bunny are more daisies and smaller flowers on tall stems, leafy plants, a rounded bush in the background, tufts of grass and two spotted mushrooms in the bottom corners. Little tufts of fur along the bunny's chest and cheeks give kids a fun texture to work on. Big shapes and clear outlines are good for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the small spots and petals give older children something to enjoy. Soft gray or warm tan for the bunny, plus yellow and pink petals, will make the big flower stand out. It's a free printable and a cheerful, calm choice for a quiet afternoon. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bunny: fill its body, tall ears and belly with tan brown, and color the inner part of the front ear blush pink.
- 2Color the big daisy on the right with blush pink petals and a sunny yellow center, then do the same for the small flower in the middle.
- 3Leave the left daisy's petals white and fill only its center with sunny yellow.
- 4Color the leaves and grass with lime green, add leaf green for the shaded blades, and use emerald green for the tall plant on the left.
- 5Paint the butterflies with rose pink, lavender purple and golden orange wings, and make the mushroom caps bright red with cream stems and white spots.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of tan brown along the bunny's back and a touch of leaf green under the leaves for depth.
