The flowers in this page form a circular wreath around an empty center, which leaves space for a name, a message or a small drawing. Three large daisies, each with a dotted middle and long rounded petals, sit at the top, bottom and sides. Six layered roses with swirling centers are tucked between them in pairs, and pointed leaves with visible veins fill the gaps along the curving vine. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the daisies: fill every daisy petal around the wreath with lemon yellow, leaving the thin black outlines clean.
- 2Fill the centers of the three big daisies and the small middle daisy with warm brown, adding little dots if you like.
- 3Color the rose petals rose pink, but leave the tight swirl in the middle of each rose white so it stands out.
- 4Paint all the leaves leaf green, including the small ones at the top and bottom, and keep the little pale highlights on a few leaves white.
- 5Optional: Add light shading with a slightly darker yellow along the bottom of the petals and a deeper pink on the rose edges for depth.
- 6Keep the empty space in the middle of the wreath white, as in the example.
