Sitting up straight on a round cushion with tassels, this fluffy floppy-eared bunny beams while holding a star-tipped magic wand in one paw. A few sparkles twinkle around the wand, and three hearts of different sizes drift above its head. Look closely and you'll spot big shiny eyes, round blushing cheeks, a tiny open mouth, a puffy tail poking out behind, and a collar with a heart charm. Long lines and roomy shapes are easy going for little ones still working on pencil control. Older kids can spend time on the fur tufts and the tassels. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cushion and the tassels: color the big cushion sky blue and the two tassels golden yellow, leaving the little tufts neat.
- 2Fill the bunny's body, head, tail, front paws, and the paw holding the wand with warm ivory, keeping the fur edges clean.
- 3Color the large ear, the wand's tip and the heart shapes: make the right ear and the small hearts soft pink or light pink, the heart pendant cherry red, and the wand star lemon yellow.
- 4Add the red collar and its strap in bright red, then color the cheeks blush pink and the open mouth with blush pink.
- 5Leave the eye shines, the left ear, and the small gaps between the paws white so they pop against the colors.
- 6Optional: Add a little light shading with a slightly darker tone along the bottom of the cushion and the bunny's belly to make it look fluffy.
