Calico Critters Playing on a Beach Carousel

A group of Calico Critters gather around a round carousel on a sandy beach, with ocean waves and two seagulls behind them. A bear, a rabbit and a chipmunk-like critter sit on the ride, which has a mushroom-shaped canopy and fish-shaped seats. A cat critter sits at the bottom of a small slide on the right, and a hedgehog critter with spiky hair waves nearby. On the left, a tall rabbit in a polka dot skirt stands beside a smaller rabbit, both watching the fun. The sand is drawn with lots of little dashes, so it's a good place to practice small, steady strokes. Try coloring the sand in soft tan and yellow, then use bright colors for the fish seats and the polka dot skirt so they stand out. This free printable also works well for talking about teamwork and taking turns.
