Campfire Night with Kids Roasting Hot Dogs
Coloring guide
A boy and a girl sit on two logs, one on each side of a crackling campfire, and each holds a long stick with a hot dog at the end. The boy has on a hooded sweatshirt, pants, and sneakers. The girl wears a ponytail, a long-sleeved top, and sneakers. Both of them are smiling at the flames. A ring of rounded stones surrounds the fire, with stacked logs in the center. Behind the kids you'll see a pitched tent, tall pine trees, a few bushes, and a crescent moon in the sky, while small grass tufts and pebbles are scattered on the ground. Bright oranges, yellows, and reds suit the fire, and warm tan and pink suit the hot dogs. Deep blues and purples around the tent and trees will make the fire glow. - 2Color the tent in golden yellow and orange, and fill the crescent moon with lemon yellow.
- 3Fill the logs and the boy's hair with brown, and color the burning log in caramel brown. Leave the small shoe highlights white.
- 4Color the boy's hoodie and jeans in sky blue and deep blue, and the girl's sweater in bubblegum pink with violet pants.
- 5Add the skin with peach on the faces and hands, lemon yellow for the girl's hair and ponytail, and burnt orange for the hot dogs.
- 6Finish with the flames in golden yellow, the stones in stone gray and charcoal gray, and the log ends in tan. Optional: add a little darker shade under the stones and along the logs for depth.
