Candy Apples Lined Up on a Baking Tray

Coloring guide
Here are three candy apples on a rectangular baking tray lined with crinkled paper, each pushed onto a tall wooden stick. The one on the left has a drippy glaze and round and stick-shaped sprinkles across the top. The apple in front is covered in chunky chopped nuts around the stick, with thick glaze running down below. On the right, the apple is smooth and shiny, with curved highlight lines on its glossy shell. A wooden surface with plank lines and wood grain shows up behind the tray. There are lots of small shapes in this free printable, so it works well for kids who like detail and have a steady hand. Deep cherry red looks great on the shiny apple, caramel brown on the drips, and any rainbow mix on the sprinkles. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the wooden table and back wall in light brown, leaving the thin highlights on the wood grain untouched.
- 2Color the left apple bright green and the right apple amber orange, keeping the shiny highlight on the right apple white.
- 3Fill the center apple with cherry red, then add bright red at the bottom glaze drip.
- 4Color the parchment paper and the tray: cream white for the paper, light gray for the tray bottom and silver gray for the rim.
- 5Add cream white icing to the top of the left apple, chocolate brown drizzle on the center apple, and pale tan sticks.
- 6Optional: Finish with golden yellow and light gold for the nut bits on the center apple, leaving some white flecks for the marshmallow pieces.
