Googly-Eyed Bat Floating Across the Page

A single bat floats across the page with its wings spread wide to both sides. Two pointed ears rise above a round-edged head, and two big circle eyes sit side by side, each with a small circle pupil that looks down and to the left, which gives the bat a funny sideways glance. The wings have smooth curved tops and scalloped bottom edges, and the body below the face swoops into a soft wavy shape. The outlines are thick and clean with no background, so there is plenty of open space for little hands. Try coloring the wings in two different shades to show the scalloped edges, then add a bright color to the eyes. This printable page also works well for a quick Halloween table activity or a lesson on nocturnal animals.
