Witch Hat Bat With a Pumpkin Candy Bucket

Coloring guide
Up in the sky, a smiling little bat in a buckled witch hat flies along holding a jack-o'-lantern candy bucket by its handle. It has big round eyes and oversized ears. The scene below turns cozy and countryside: a small house with a chimney, round and arched windows and a curved front door sits on a hill next to a short wooden fence, with a winding path and fluffy bushes behind. Up front is a pumpkin patch with large and small pumpkins, curly vines and leafy plants. The wide wings leave lots of open space for little hands. Try purple or soft gray wings, an orange pumpkin bucket, and a black hat with a golden buckle. Preschoolers and early elementary kids will enjoy this free printable, and it fits a Halloween party table or a classroom activity. - 1Start with the bat's wings and ears: fill the wings with soft purple and the inside of the ears with rose pink, leaving the bright edges white.
- 2Color the bat's head, body, arms and hand in medium gray, keeping the eye whites and the little teeth white.
- 3Fill the witch hat with deep purple and paint the hat band and buckle in pumpkin orange.
- 4Color the candy bucket and the big pumpkins in the foreground with pumpkin orange, then add lime green to the grass and forest green to the leaves and bushes.
- 5Paint the house walls in butter yellow, the roof in deep purple, the door in warm brown and the garden path in tan.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the wings and along the bottom of the pumpkins to make them pop.
