Cartoon Flamingo Walking With One Leg Raised

A cartoon flamingo walks across the page in side view, facing left. It has a long curved neck, a big downturned beak, and a friendly eye with a small smile line near the cheek. The body is a smooth oval shape with one wing drawn on the side, showing a few pointed feathers near the back and tail. Fluffy little feather tufts sit on the chest and the top of the head. Two thin legs stretch down from the body. One foot rests flat on the ground while the other leg is bent and lifted behind, with the webbed toes pointing down. There is no background, so the whole page is open white space. Kids can try the classic pink, or use a pink to orange fade on the body and wing feathers. The large beak and long legs are easy for small hands to color. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on what makes flamingos look so tall and thin.
