Cartoon Rooster Standing Side View With Big Tail

A plump cartoon rooster stands in side view, facing left with its head tilted slightly down. It has a scalloped comb on top of its head, one small eye with eyelashes, and a curved beak. A ruffled layer of feathers covers its neck and chest, and a large rounded wing with separated feather tips sits on the middle of its body. Three long, sweeping tail feathers curve up and out behind it. Two thin legs end in flat, spread toes. The outlines are bold and the shapes are large, which makes this a good free printable for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try coloring each tail feather and each wing feather a different shade, then talk about how a rooster's feathers overlap and fan out.
