Coloring guide

Two tall round towers with cone roofs and waving flags flank a big arched wooden door, and each brick in the castle carries a little math problem like 5-2, 3+2 or 4+1. Kids solve the sum, then color the brick using the key of six crayons numbered 1 to 6 at the bottom. You'll also find arched windows, a battlement wall, a stone path up to the gate and a flag on each tower. Behind it all are mountains, clouds, a smiling sun, pine trees, round leafy trees, and flowers in the front corners. It's a free printable that suits early elementary addition and subtraction practice. Gray and tan work for the bricks, red for the flags and brown for the double doors, turning all those numbers into a real castle. This fits right in with our Math Pixel Art coloring pages — see also Activity Sheets and Alphabet.
