Cat in the Hat Dancing Among Giant Flowers
Coloring guide
The Cat in the Hat, wearing his tall striped hat and bow tie, strolls along a grassy hill with both arms stretched out wide. Two children join him. One runs on the path toward him with a big smile, and the other leaps in the air behind with arms raised. Huge flowers fill the scene around them. Some have rounded petals and a big center, some are bell-shaped tulips, and one tall stem is topped with small bud clusters. Long curved leaves and tufts of grass add more shapes to fill in. Try coloring the hat stripes in bright red and keep the flowers in a mix of soft and bold shades. It is also a fun page for talking about shapes and sizes, since the plants look so much bigger than the children. Print as many copies as you need for a rainy afternoon.
