Two big, fluffy pom-poms sit in the middle of this collection of cheer gear. A tall megaphone leans on the left, and a pair of lace-up sneakers tucks in at the lower right. Two large hair bows are stacked at the bottom, and the pom-poms are made of lots of long, loose strips that are fun to color one at a time. Small stars and hearts float around the edges to fill the empty space. Nothing is complicated, so it's a good match for kids who like medium-sized sections with a bit of detail. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the megaphone body, the two large bows and the thin stripe on the megaphone with red, leaving the handle and top rim white.
- 2Fill the left pom-pom strands alternately with red, leaving the in-between strands white, and color the right pom-pom strands with bright blue and a few sky blue and deep blue strands for depth.
- 3Color the lower bow and its tails with bright blue, and add a few lavender purple strands on the pom-poms for a pop of color.
- 4Color the two stars and the small star with golden yellow, and color the hearts red.
- 5Keep the sneakers, laces, pom-pom centers and the megaphone handle white, then add a few light shading lines on the red and blue parts (optional tip: a slightly darker edge makes it look more shiny).
