Bow Check at the Mirror: Cheerleading Getting-Ready Page

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• peach skin
• pale blue
• royal blue
• chestnut brown
• warm tan
• sky blue
• hot pink
• light gray
• golden yellow

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big skin areas: color the arms, legs, and faces with peach skin, leaving the white cheer top, socks, and shoes white.
2. 2Fill the cheerleader skirts and the belt areas with royal blue, leaving the white hem stripes on the skirts untouched.
3. 3Color the hair with chestnut brown, then add hot pink to the big bow and the pompom ribbons.
4. 4Paint the stool and its crossbars with warm tan, and tint the mirror background and floor with pale blue and light gray.
5. 5Color the stars golden yellow and leave the pompom's white strands white.
6. 6Optional: add a little darker brown under the hair and a soft gray shadow under the shoes to make the page pop.
