Chef Doraemon Robot Cat Decorating a Strawberry Cake

Coloring guide
Standing on a wooden stool in a tall chef hat and apron, a little robot-style cat squeezes a piping bag over a tiered strawberry cake. The cake sits on a pedestal stand with three candles, swirls of frosting and plump strawberries on top. The cat's tail ends in a star, and its arms and legs show jointed, mechanical details. Around the kitchen are a big mixing bowl with a whisk, a few loose strawberries on the counter and a plate of strawberry cupcakes. A potted plant sits on a shelf with a spatula and spoon hanging below, and there's an arched window in the corner. Big shapes and small details together make it work for a range of ages. Red and pink for the strawberries, sunny yellow for the candle flames and a bright color for the tail star would look sweet. Print the free PDF for a classroom project or weekend craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: color the cabinets, the window pane on the left, and the cat's body and arms in medium blue or light blue, leaving the apron white.
- 2Color the cat's head, ears, paws and legs in golden yellow, and the tail in orange with a few stripes; the star wand is golden yellow too.
- 3Fill the cake with light pink frosting and rose pink layers, add cream on the middle layer, and color the cake stand and plates in light blue and pale blue.
- 4Color the strawberries bright red, the plant leaves leaf green, the flower pot lavender purple, and the mint green bowl with its batter.
- 5Use wood brown for the floor, counter edge, stool and spoon, then add the whisk and piping bag details; leave the eyes, chef hat, spatula and apron white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the cat's body and cake edges to make the colors pop.
