Elf Carving a Toy Car in a Christmas Workshop
Coloring guide
A smiling elf in a pointed, zigzag-trimmed hat with a pom-pom sits on a stool at a rough wooden workbench, carving a little toy car with a small tool. Wood shavings are scattered over the table, with a block of wood to one side beside a cup of tools. He wears striped stockings, curly-toed shoes with pom-poms, suspenders and a pointed collar. All around the workshop you'll spot a rocking horse, a teddy bear with a bow, and stacked toy blocks on the floor. A wall shelf holds more blocks and a ball, and an arched window shows a snowy pine tree. Red and green fit the hat and collar, warm browns the bench and toy car, and a soft golden tan the teddy bear. It's a free printable full of small details, good for patient colorers who like a cozy scene. Love this Christmas (Adult) coloring page? - 1Start with the big areas: color the elf's green tunic, pants and sleeves with kelly green, and the elf's pointed hat with bright red stripes.
- 2Fill the wooden table, table legs and stool with warm brown, then color the rocking horse body in light tan and the teddy bear in warm brown, leaving the bear muzzle cream.
- 3Add the window panes in sky blue, leaving the lower panes and the snow white, and color the tree in the window kelly green and gray.
- 4Color the elf's face and hands skin peach, the hair chestnut brown, and the toy car bright red with warm brown wheels, keeping the sock stripes white where shown.
- 5Finish with the small details: golden yellow for the blocks and ball, sky blue and kelly green for the pencils, and forest green for the shoes. Optional: add a little darker shading on the table and the bear for depth.
