Christmas Sweet Treats with a Smiling Gingerbread Man
Coloring guide
In the middle of a pile of sweet treats, a smiling gingerbread man waves one arm. He has rosy round cheeks, a bow tie, three buttons and wavy icing lines on his arms and legs. Two striped candy canes curve up behind his head, and a big swirled lollipop rises over a frosted cupcake. The cupcake wears sprinkles and a little star, and sits in a ribbed paper liner. A wrapped striped candy lies at the bottom in front, with holly leaves and berries tucked around the edges. Shapes are large and clear, so crayons, markers or colored pencils all work well. Warm cinnamon browns suit the gingerbread man, and red and green stripes on the candy canes will match the holly. Download and print this free page to add to your coloring stash. - 2Color the two candy canes and the wrapped candy in the middle with candy red, leaving the white stripes uncolored.
- 3Fill the holly leaves with forest green and the holly berries with candy red, adding a small blush pink highlight on one berry.
- 4Color the cupcake liners candy red and the cupcake base gingerbread brown, keeping the frosting and sprinkles white.
- 5Fill the star with golden yellow and the lollipop stick with caramel tan, then add rose pink cheeks and the bow tie in candy red; keep the lollipop swirl white.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color along one side of the shapes to give them a little depth.
