Lion Leaping Through a Hoop, The Greatest Showman Circus Act
Coloring guide
A smiling cartoon lion jumps through a big round hoop while a cheerful ringmaster keeps it steady. The lion has a fluffy mane, a happy open-mouthed grin, and a tufted tail behind it as its paws reach forward. The ringmaster is dressed in a tall top hat, bow tie, buttoned vest, long tailcoat, matching trousers and polished shoes. He stands at the edge of a round circus ring with a row of stars on the front and a simple curved barrier wall behind. Big shapes suit younger kids, and the mane and coat give older ones something to sink their teeth into. Warm golds and oranges for the mane and a bold red tailcoat give it a classic circus feel. Print it free for a rainy afternoon or a circus lesson. This fits right in with our The Greatest Showman coloring pages — see also Lego Disney and Rainbow Rangers.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: color the circus ring floor and the wall panels in ocean blue, leaving the lion's paws and the hoop area for later.
- 2Color the lion's mane and the inside of the hoop in warm brown, then fill the lion's head, body and legs in golden yellow.
- 3Use bright red for the ring base band, the hoop rim, the jacket and the hat band, and add coral pink to the lion's inner ears and tongue.
- 4Fill the man's top hat, trousers and shoes in charcoal gray, and color the vest in golden yellow and the bow tie in bright red.
- 5Add the dark chocolate nose and soft cream muzzle on the lion, and color the stars on the ring base golden yellow; leave the lion's tail tip, shirt front and the small gap under the paws white.
- 6Optional: Add a little light peach to the man's face and hand, and use burnt orange on the jacket lapel for a warm finishing touch.
