Classic Firefighter Helmet With Blank Shield Badge

Coloring guide
One big firefighter helmet takes up the whole page, drawn with bold, clean lines that small hands can follow easily. A tall ridge runs over the dome, and a large shield-shaped badge sits at the front with a double border and three little round rivets. A band wraps around the base, and a wide curved brim circles the helmet. The badge is blank, so kids can write in a number, a letter or invent their own design. With no background, the page stays calm and simple for younger children. Use it for a community helper unit, fire safety week, or a quiet afternoon at home. Red on the dome and brim looks great, and yellow or gold on the shield and rivets will make the badge pop. It's a free printable for preschool and early elementary. Looking for more? A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- fire red
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the wide brim at the bottom and both sides of the helmet dome in fire red, leaving the small circular rivets on the shield white.
- 2Fill the upper and lower sections of the dome on both sides in fire red, going around the curved dividing lines.
- 3Color the tall top crest that rises from the top of the helmet in golden yellow.
- 4Fill the thin band that wraps across the front of the helmet below the shield in golden yellow.
- 5Color the shield's outer frame and its inner area in golden yellow, keeping the small round rivets white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the lower edges of the red dome and the bottom of the brim to make the helmet look rounder.
