A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wooden pieces: color the chair, table, and table legs in warm tan, and the brush handles and palette edge details in dark brown.
- 2Fill the rainbow arcs from the outside in: cherry red, light orange, golden yellow, grass green, and purple, leaving both clouds white.
- 3Color the glue bottle label light blue and the glue cap bright orange, keeping the bottle body white.
- 4Paint the crayon box in golden yellow, then add the crayon tops in cherry red, light orange, golden yellow, grass green, sky blue, and purple, plus the stripes in the box window.
- 5Add the palette dots in royal blue, grass green, cherry red, light orange, and golden yellow, keeping the palette body white, then color the scissors handles purple and the blades light gray.
- 6Color the ruler in light blue. Optional: add a few soft darker strokes along the table edge and chair to make the scene feel more lively.
