Coiled Legendary Pokémon Giratina in Its Origin Forme Serpent Shape
Coloring guide
A long, coiled Giratina in its Origin Forme curls across this line drawing, head turned to the left. The crested head has a pointed, angular crown and a sharp, narrow eye. The striped, snake-like body loops around in a big circle, with spikes sticking out along the coil and a few larger, sturdy spiked shapes near the bottom. Behind the head, big wing-like shapes stretch toward the upper right, each ending in a point. Nothing fills the background, so the whole page is open for kids to color. The wide bands on the body are simple to fill, while the spikes and jagged crest give older kids detail to work on. Deep reds and blacks would suit the body stripes, with golden yellow on the spikes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big dark arms, the long claws at the top, and the coiled body on the right by filling them with slate gray.
- 2Fill the red bands running across the lower coiled body and neck with crimson red, leaving the gaps between them for the dark stripes.
- 3Color the spiky fins, the head horns, the jaw spikes, and the tail fins with golden yellow, and add a few pale yellow highlights on the head.
- 4Fill the tips of the claws at the top right with crimson red, and add the dark plum shading on the small tail fin near the right side.
- 5Leave the background spaces between the arms and around the coil white, and keep the small highlight gaps white so the shapes pop.
- 6Optional: Add a little deep maroon along the shadowed edges of the red stripes and a touch of dusky bronze on the lower jaw to add depth.
