Comet Racing Over a Grassy Hill for Solar System & Space Fans

A cheerful comet with big sparkly eyes, rosy cheeks and an open smile zooms diagonally across the night sky, trailing a long, swooping tail with flowing streaks and forked tips. Outlined stars of different sizes surround it, from one large star at the top left to tiny twinkles all over the page. Down at the bottom, a gently curved hill is dotted with small tufts of grass and has a puffy bush on either side. The shapes are big and clean, so little hands can color them without much trouble. Try blending orange and yellow on the comet's round face, then let the tail fade into red or pink for a glowing look. Download and print this free page for classroom time or a rainy day. Kids who like Solar System & Space coloring pages usually enjoy Butterfly and Beach too.
