Old-Fashioned Cookie Jar Full of Treats
Coloring guide
On a wooden shelf sits a big glass jar with a round-knobbed lid, crammed with all kinds of cookies. Look closely and you'll spot chocolate chip cookies, a dotted round one, a swirl cookie, a star-shaped one, sandwich cookies with filling, and a scalloped cookie with a heart in the middle. To the left, a leafy plant grows in a pot decorated with a small heart. On the right, a cute teapot with a smiling face and little flowers on its body peeks in. A shelf bracket and wood-panel background finish things off. With both big and small shapes, it suits kids who like a bit of detail, and it's a good free printable for a rainy afternoon. Golden yellow and light brown fit the cookies, pink is nice for the heart cookie, and soft blue works for the teapot flowers. - 1Start with the big background areas: color the wooden shelves and the bracket warm brown, and leave the wall panels and glass jar edges white.
- 2Color the jar lid, its knob and the rim soft blue, then fill the plant pot with light pink and add a cherry red heart on it.
- 3Fill the cookies with golden orange and golden yellow, and color the sandwich cookies pink, leaving the star and frilly cookies white.
- 4Color the plant leaves leaf green and the pot soil dark brown, then paint the small cream jar with sky blue and cherry red stripes and lid.
- 5Optional: add a few light pink or pale blue touches on the cookie edges and swirl for a little extra sparkle.
