Cozy Armchair Reading with a Teddy Bear
Coloring guide
Settled back in a big overstuffed armchair, a smiling bear holds an open book in both paws, with paw pads showing on its feet. Beside it rest a checkered pillow and a chunky knit blanket with fringe, and down below a striped kitten sleeps curled up on a braided round rug. The bookshelf behind them holds rows of books, a globe, a small cat figurine, a framed picture, a potted plant and a basket. A tall fringed lamp, a heart-decorated mug on a side table, leafy houseplants and a curtained window finish off the reading nook. Big and small areas mean it suits beginners and detail lovers alike. Soft reds and warm browns would be nice for the armchair, with orange stripes on the sleeping kitten. Print or download this free page for a quick coloring break whenever you like. Looking for more? - 1Start with the teddy bear: fill its head, ears, paws and feet with caramel brown, leaving the cream muzzle and cheeks untouched.
- 2Color the big armchair in coral red, covering the back, both arms and the seat cushion.
- 3Fill the open book's cover and pages in bright blue, then add the cream plaid throw pillow beside the bear.
- 4Color the sleeping cat in golden yellow with tangerine orange stripes on its tail and back, and leave its cream paws light.
- 5Add the background: butter yellow curtains, sage green and sky blue window view, medium brown wooden wall and shelves, and the cream lamp shade.
- 6Optional: add a darker shade of brown along the bear's belly and under the chair to make the scene feel cozier.
