Cozy Fireplace Storybook Scene with Princess Christmas Fun

Here a smiling princess in a puffy-sleeved gown and a flower-trimmed tiara is curled up in a big cushioned armchair with a plaid blanket, reading a large decorated book with a holly design on the cover. The living room is full of cozy things: shelves packed with books, a snow globe and a lantern behind her, and a snowy window with curtains. On the right, a fire crackles under a mantel with a bow, garland, candles and a snowflake stocking, with a mug on a small side table nearby. A decorated Christmas tree stands on the left, and a sleeping kitten is curled up on a fluffy rug at her feet. Deep wintery blue or rich red would look great on the gown, and warm orange and yellow will make the fire feel toasty. This free printable page has lots of small details for patient colorers, and it makes a calm quiet-time activity.
