Craft Table Cupid Painting Valentine Cards

Coloring guide
At a cluttered craft table, a curly-haired Cupid with small feathered wings carefully paints a heart-shaped cutout with a little brush. He wears a crown of tiny hearts, and a quiver full of arrows stands behind him. The table holds a jar of paint, scissors, folded heart cards, loose paper hearts, an envelope, a ribbon, and a bowl heaped with more hearts. Heart garlands hang across the top, ivy climbs near a bookshelf with a lantern, and an arched window shows clouds beside a potted plant with heart-shaped leaves. All those small spaces suit kids who like detail, and it's a free printable for Valentine's Day at home or in class. Soft pinks and reds for the cards and hearts, golden yellow for his curls, and pale blue for the wings will make the table stand out. This fits right in with our Cupid (Valentine's) coloring pages — see also Snowman and 4th of July.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the table top, the wooden shelves and the arched window frame in tan, and the sky seen through the window in light sky blue.
- 2Color the angel's face, arms and neck in light peach, then fill the curly hair and the head garland with golden yellow, leaving the little hearts in the garland white.
- 3Paint the garland hearts across the top in cherry red and baby pink, and add the red strap across the angel's shoulder in tomato red; leave the wings, tank top and envelopes white.
- 4Color the paper cards next: the blue card in sky blue, the purple card in violet purple, the pink cards in baby pink, and the hearts on them in bright red.
- 5Fill the candy bowl with rose and dusty pink hearts, the potted plant and ivy leaves in leaf green, and the books on the shelves in warm brown, mint green and amber yellow.
- 6Optional: add a little warm brown shading under the table edge and along the angel's arm to make the scene feel more rounded.
