Crouching Chimpanzee Reaching One Hand to the Ground

A chimp crouches low with its knees bent and one long arm stretched down so the fingers touch the ground. The other arm rests across its raised knee, with the hand hanging loosely. The face is drawn with round dark eyes, a heavy brow ridge, two small nostrils, a small oval mouth and a visible ear on the side of the head. Short jagged lines mark the fur on the wrist and forearm, and the long toes of the feet press flat against the ground. The outlines are clean and the body shapes are large, so this free printable works well for kids who like bigger areas to fill in. Try soft browns and charcoal grays for the body, then a lighter tan for the face, hands and feet. It could also start a chat about how chimpanzees use their hands and feet.
