Little Chef Cupid (Valentine's) Frosting a Heart Cake

In a tall chef's hat and apron, a smiling little cupid with curly hair and feathered wings decorates a big heart-shaped cake. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the wooden counters and cabinets warm brown and pale yellow, and leave the kitchen wall, chef hat and wings white.
- 2Fill the cake with pink frosting on the rim and sides, and color the cake layers cream, leaving the small hearts on the cake white.
- 3Color the chef's hair golden yellow, his face and hands with a soft skin tone if you like, and the apron, hat band and bowl in light blue.
- 4Add the piping bag in blush pink, the bowl of frosting in light pink, and the towel in light pink with a pink stripe.
- 5Finish the details: color the flower pot orange, the plant leaves leaf green, the red heart picks and whisk handle bright red, and leave the eye shine spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade under the cake frosting and along the cupid's hair to make the drawing pop.
