Teddy Bear and Cupid (Valentine's) Sharing a Meadow
Coloring guide
Sitting cross-legged on the grass, a curly-haired baby Cupid has small wings, a draped toga-style tunic, and a bow in one hand. A quiver of heart-tipped arrows rests behind his shoulder. Next to him is a smiling teddy bear in a bow tie, hugging a big heart against its tummy, with round paw pads on its feet. A leafy tree and small bush stand behind them, and grass tufts and simple flowers dot the meadow up front. It's a free printable that fits Valentine's Day crafts and classroom activities. Honey brown for the bear, bright red for the heart, and soft pink or pale blue for the wings would be nice. Big shapes and clear outlines help younger kids with crayons, while the curls and petals give older kids some detail to work on. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the cupid's skin and the bear's tan areas with peach skin for the arms, legs and face, and use warm brown for the bear's head, ears, belly and paws.
- 2Fill the curly hair with golden yellow and the bow and arrow handle with bright yellow, leaving the cupid's toga and diaper white.
- 3Color the big heart and the bear's bow tie and the small hearts in bright red, and add a soft pink smile on the cupid.
- 4Paint the cupid's sash and belt in sky blue, and the wing in pale blue, keeping the tree canopy and background white.
- 5Use grass green for the bushes, the tree trunk and grass tufts, then add dark green to the leaves of the flowers and their stems.
- 6Optional: Leave the petals and flower centers white or add golden yellow centers, and use light cream for the bear's muzzle and foot pads.
