Rainbow Slide Fun for a Curly-Haired Glitter Force Girl
Coloring guide
Both arms flung up and mouth wide open in a huge smile, a cheerful little girl with big curly hair slides down a wide, striped rainbow. She's dressed in a headband, a star-shaped hair clip, a puff-sleeved top with a star on the chest, a flared skirt and chunky boots with rounded toes. Fluffy clouds sit at the top left, bottom left and along the right edge, and five outlined stars of different sizes float around her. The curls, skirt and rainbow stripes all have big open areas that small hands can fill easily. Use the same sunny yellow for the star clip and the star on her top, then give every rainbow band its own bright shade. This free printable is a good pick for preschoolers and early elementary kids who like playful scenes, and it's handy on a rainy afternoon or in class. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rainbow slide: color the top stripe bright blue, the next stripe leaf green, the middle stripe golden yellow, and the outer stripe red, following the curve from top left to bottom right.
- 2Fill the clouds and background sky details in pale blue, leaving the large open background area and the bottom edges white.
- 3Color the girl's face, neck, arms and legs in light peach, keeping the eye whites and the smile area as you like.
- 4Use warm brown for the curly hair, then add the golden yellow headband, the hair star clip, and the stars around the page.
- 5Color the dress in bubblegum pink with the coral pink smile, then add the purple shoes and keep the socks white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade on the edges of the curls and the dress folds to make the drawing pop.
