Curly Mermaid Perched on a Rainbow With Starfish

A smiling mermaid with big curly hair sits on top of a rainbow, eyes closed and a little gap in her teeth showing. She wears a striped long sleeve shirt, and her tail is covered in rounded overlapping scales that end in a wide fin at the bottom. Puffy clouds sit on either side of her tail, and another cloud shape rises behind her head. Five starfish with small circles in the middle float around the rainbow, and six slim fish swim across the open space on both sides. The rainbow bands are wide, so they are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring each scale in a different shade of blue and green, then let kids pick their own stripe colors for the shirt. This printable page also works well for a quick counting game with the fish and starfish.
