Curly-Haired Shoppies Doll with Heart Apron
Coloring guide
Long spiral curls tumble down both sides of this doll, who looks straight out at you with big eyes and her arms stretched slightly away from her body. On her head sit a large bow and a little cluster of pom-pom shapes, plus one more swirl curling over her forehead. Her puffy-sleeved top has buttons and a neck bow, and over her checkered skirt she wears a heart-shaped apron with a small bow in the middle. Ruffled socks and chunky bow-topped shoes round things out. The page has no background, which keeps all the attention on her. Pastel pink works nicely for the heart apron and a warm chocolate brown for the curls, and two bright colors will make the checkered skirt pop. The free PDF is ready to print for classroom time or a rainy day. This fits right in with our Shoppies Dolls coloring pages — see also Puppy Dog Pals and Trolls.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the face, neck, arms, legs and ears in a soft peach, leaving the smile line uncolored.
- 2Fill the headband, the big bows, the shoe bows and the shoe bases with rose pink, and use blush pink for the heart apron, the puff sleeve cuffs and the hair bow.
- 3Color the sleeves and the blue panel on the blouse with sky blue, keeping the blouse bodice and the lace hem at the bottom of the skirt white.
- 4Use golden yellow for all the long curly hair, including the curl on the forehead, and leave thin white gaps between the curls so they look shiny.
- 5Add the two small flowers on top of the hair: cherry red for the red ones and leaf green for the green one.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker tone of golden yellow inside the hair curls and a touch of blush pink under the eyes for a softer look.
