Curly-Haired Young Man Chatting in a Palm Tree Bubble

A young man with big, curly hair leans forward and stretches one hand toward the viewer, palm up, with his mouth open as if he is talking. Behind him, a wavy-edged bubble frames two tall palm trees and some large leafy plants, so it looks like he is describing a tropical place. In the bottom foreground, the backs of several heads are drawn, including a couple with glasses, as if an audience is watching him. Simple lines in the background suggest walls and a window or opening. The big open areas are easy for younger kids to color. Try bright greens and browns for the palm trees, then give each audience member a different hair color. It could also spark a chat about places kids like to imagine visiting.
