Riley Looking Worried Over a Takeout Noodle Box

A girl with shoulder-length hair and side-swept bangs sits at a table, holding a chopstick in one hand and leaning over an open takeout box. Her eyes are wide and her mouth is open, so she looks surprised or a little worried. She wears a long-sleeved top with a zigzag pattern. Behind her is a staircase with chunky newel posts, thin spindles and a slanted handrail. On the left, a covered drink cup with a straw sits on the table. The zigzag sweater is a good place to try two alternating colors, like teal and yellow, while the wooden stairs can be shaded in soft browns. This free printable also works well for talking about facial expressions, since you can ask kids what feeling they think her face shows and choose colors to match.
