Cushioned Clam Shell Ariel Looking Back, The Little Mermaid
Coloring guide
Ariel is sitting on a plump cushion inside a large open clam shell, turning to glance over her shoulder with a bright smile. One hand rests on her curved mermaid tail, and her long wavy hair floats around her in loose ribbons. She has a seashell-style top on, and the tassels on the cushion corners are drawn clearly. Her tail finishes in a big, wispy fin with flowing lines that are fun to color. The shell's ridged, layered edges frame everything from behind. Lines are bold and shapes are roomy, so this free printable suits kids who like both big and small areas to fill. Soft teal or green for the tail and fin and lavender or pink for the shell will keep Ariel standing out in the middle. This fits right in with our The Little Mermaid coloring pages — see also Nella the Princess Knight and Princesses.
