Baby Turtle Snacking on a Giant Strawberry

Here's a smiling baby turtle with big sparkly eyes, chomping into a huge strawberry and hugging it close with one front flipper. It has a round head, little toes, and a shell made up of big and small sections. The page is set in a cozy strawberry patch with serrated leaves, two small five-petal flowers at the top, and two more ripe strawberries tucked in the bottom corners. A few tufts of grass poke up near the ground. Clear outlines and big shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the seed dots and shell panels will keep older kids busy. Red for the berries and leafy greens for the plants are the obvious picks, and a soft light green on the turtle will make it stand out. Print it free at home or at school.
