Little Bear Ice Skating Holding a Heart Balloon
Coloring guide
On a frozen pond, a smiling little bear skates with one leg lifted behind and one arm reaching up to hold a heart-shaped balloon on a string. It's wearing a chunky knit hat with a big pom-pom, and its striped, fringed scarf trails out behind. Small snowy evergreens and soft snow mounds sit around the pond, and a few oval swirls are drawn on the ice. Bold outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids well. A red or pink balloon would look sweet, and matching blue and white stripes on the hat and scarf could go with pale blue ice for a wintry feel. - 3Fill the knitted hat and the skating boots with cherry red, then add the scarf with alternating cherry red and butter yellow stripes.
- 4Color the sweater arm and leg sleeves in sky blue and the skate blades in silver gray.
- 5Add the forest green trees with chocolate brown trunks, and shade the snow mounds in icy tint while keeping the snow tops white.
- 6Optional: add a soft pink tongue and inner ears, and keep the eye whites and the heart balloon outline uncolored.
