Young Koala Standing Up with a Leafy Branch

A young koala stands upright with its head tilted slightly to one side, holding a leafy eucalyptus branch in both paws. It has a big black oval nose, small round eyes, a gentle smile, and two fluffy ears with lots of short fur strokes. The leaves are long and pointed, and some overlap near the paws while the stem trails down toward the feet. The koala's tummy and legs are left open, with little fur marks along the arms and belly. Its feet at the bottom show small curved claws. Try gray or soft brown crayons for the fur and several shades of green for the leaves, then leave the belly lighter. This free page also works well for a quick lesson on what koalas eat and where they live.
