Cute Koala Hugging a Tree Branch

A smiling cartoon koala clings to a long, curved branch that sweeps down from the top right of the page. The koala has big round eyes with white sparkle spots, a large oval nose, and a small happy mouth. Both round ears have tufts of fur drawn as short jagged lines. One arm wraps around the branch near the chin, while the other arm grips it lower down. The round belly and a little tail bump on the left give the page a soft, cuddly shape, and one foot with toe lines shows near the bottom. The large open areas are easy for small hands to fill in. Try gray or soft brown for the fur, then leave the eye sparkles white so the koala looks wide awake. It also works well for a lesson on Australian animals.
