Cute Mermaid With Big Curly Hair and Scaly Tail

A smiling mermaid with a big cloud of curly hair floats with her eyes closed and her arms stretched out to each side. Her bangs fall over her forehead, and longer curls frame her face and trail down behind her back. She wears a simple tank top, and a ruffled, striped band sits at her waist where the tail begins. The curved tail is covered in scallop-shaped scales in different sizes, and it ends in a small two-lobed fin with line details. The outlines are thick and clean, so this printable page works well for younger kids. Try coloring each row of scales in a different shade, moving from warm colors near the waist to cool ones at the fin. It is also a nice way to talk about patterns and how scales overlap.
