Cute Panda Sitting Up and Munching Bamboo

Coloring guide
This round, smiling panda sits upright, big paws wrapped around a bamboo stalk while it nibbles a few leaves at the tip. The eyes are wide and shiny with large oval patches around them. Both feet face outward, so there are little toe beans to fill in. Tall bamboo stalks with pointed leaves stand on the left and right behind it, which keeps the background simple and uncluttered. Bold, clean lines make it friendly for preschoolers and early elementary kids still working on pencil control. You could go classic with black on the ears, arms, legs and eye patches and leave the belly and face white, then pick two greens for the bamboo stalks and leaves. It's free to print whenever you need an easy afternoon activity. Add this to your Panda coloring page collection, alongside Bee and Wolves.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- charcoal gray
- lime green
- soft pink
- deep green
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with charcoal gray on the big dark areas: both ears, the two eye patches, the right arm and shoulder, and the two feet.
- 2Fill the bamboo stalks and most of the leaves with lime green, leaving tiny white rings at the joints.
- 3Color a few leaves with deep green, such as the leaves on the left side and the leaf near the panda's mouth.
- 4Use soft pink for the inner ears and the paw pads on both feet, including the little toe pads.
- 5Keep the face, belly, nose, and the small eye shine spots white so the panda looks bright and friendly.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of darker green on the bamboo stalks to make them look more shaded.
