Waving Koala Cub with Jagged Fluffy Ears

A little cartoon koala stands on its back feet with one arm stretched out to the side in a friendly wave and the other arm held low. The round head has two big fluffy ears with jagged fur edges, small oval eyes, a large dark oval nose, and a tiny curved smile. Tufts of fur show on the belly, the side of the body, and near the arms, and the toes on the hands and feet are drawn as simple rounded shapes. The lines are thick and the shapes are large, so younger kids can color without much trouble. Try soft grays for the body and pale pink inside the ears, then talk about why koalas have such thick, fuzzy fur. This free printable also works well for a quick Australian animals lesson.
